Stand up to Cancer

Stephen posts:

Please, if you can, watch tonight's show, 'Stand Up To Cancer'.

http://su2c.standup2cancer.org/theshow

We need some radical new ideas and approaches to stamp out cancer once and for all. The big business of cancer isn't working. Our family has been afflicted far too much already and we must find ways to prevent our children from becoming victims. This is a movement to jump start finding new approaches, new detection methods, new treatments, etc.

Thanks,

Stephen

Steve, email me or put it on the blog to let us know what time and what network. I tried to use the link you gave for Internet and can't get it.

Dad knew about it and I watched it all. I'm glad you mentioned it.

Wow..I watched it. I know that I am being as proactive as I can be but somehow I want to motivate our kids to be proactive. It is so easy when you are young to not get regular check ups etc.

It was so moving to see how many lives have been changed by cancer.
I am so thankful that Trish and Steve are survivors.

Steve, we watched the program and it was sad to see so many people who have been hit with that dreadful disease but my heart is full of gratitude for the progress being made in treating it. I plan to make a donation. Though it won't be a lot, if we all give something it adds up. How about it family? Maybe you have already donated, but if not, join me and together we can help make a difference. With two in our family who have been hit, we need to do what we can.

Thanks. It was sobering to see how many lives are lost and touched. It's a shame. It also showed how blessed Trish and I have been to have second chances. Every time I go into the cancer center I am moved by the number of people, of all ages, suffering way worse than I. I count my blessings every second of every day.
