Scaring People is Fun

I'm leaving for NY tomorrow. You guys should send me some updates, photos, videos, anything so we can know what's up in the wide world of Thompson-ness.

It was actually a family sport...they all did it...from behind bushes, in closets, at the top of the stairs...when I was vacuuming...it was crazy.

A bat got in the entrance of our agency. I was standing in the lobby, early in the morning and the receptionist was pointing up where the bat was hanging. She left and I stayed and tried to see where the bat was. I was deep in thought, when the janitor walked up behind me and said something. I screamed so loud that they hear me on the second floor and people came running out to see what had happened to me. I paralyzed the bat and the janitor.

I just laughed out loud louder than I have ever LOL'd before.

I can only imagine what three boys could think of and do to scare their mom. You must get it from your grandpa. He loves to try to scare me.

What's hilarious is that Claire LOVES to scare people, but when the situation is reversed -- even when she KNOWS it's coming (and is totally into searching for her hiding and waiting to jump out daddy) -- she almost always bursts into tears when someone scares her.

The last time, Daniel said,"Claire, I know you don't like being scared, but it's going to keep happening," or something like that. She better just get used to it...
