HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A VERY SPECIAL PERSON IN OUR FAMILY!!!
We all love Mary but we need to tell her we do, especially at this time. She and Matthew have been through a tough time.
(If it isn't her birthday, let's pretend it is. I have been known to get a birthday wrong.)

Whenever I refer to Mary in a conversation with someone it is always "my Mary." "My Mary" is so calm in a crisis, so patient, so gentle, so beautiful inside and out and so dedicated. She is dearly loved by the people who know her, and I think one of the greatest feelings in the world is to know your son loves someone with their whole heart. What a great feeling as a mom, to know your son loves and is loved by someone. Matthew has loved Mary since 8th grade. Our family loves her and I am so proud to be her mother in heart! Her mother Sue and I love to share her...(<>:
It is funny to have conversations with Cole. He is very articulate about why he loves his mom. He will tell me that his mom is a good cook etc. One night while we were eating dinner (I was babysitting), he mentioned his mom had cooked the food and I said, "She cooks good. I love your mom." He said he loved her too and went on to mention things she did good. I can't remember the whole list, but it ended with, "And she's a good folder." (laundry)
Happy birthday Mary! I wish I lived closer so I could help make your birthday special. I imagine though that it is special, just having Lincoln better.

I love you Mary. Happy Birthday.
Does Mary ever get mad? Does she ever get sad? I always see her as glad. And that's not at all half bad!
Happy b'day from your corny uncle and friend,
Scott
Happy Birthday, Mary! Hope you are home relaxing after a very long "vacation." :)
