This is Great Aunt Ella, Grandpa Thompson's sister. I remember this day well. Despite my appearance, I was thrilled to be in her company. She was a kind person.

Was that taken at mom and dad's? It looks like our piano and picture on the wall. Not only was she kind, she was funny...very personable.
Wouldn't you just give a million dollars to have a day with the grandparents again? All the wonderful memories of Pocahontas. Funny but I can smell how the farm smelled and how all those rock houses smelled. I've never seen rock houses in any other town like Pocahontas.
Wow, Scott!! Thanks for putting that picture on the blog. I didn't know you had it. That was a great day for us, when we saw her walk in to church. We didn't know she was coming. She went home with us. She is the one who invited your Dad to go to church, so he had great respect and love for her.

I am offended by the expression on Scott's face here.
