Happy Birthday Trish

Today is Trish's birthday. No jokes this time about age (she's 59), just best wishes to one of the sweetest people any of us as ever met.

According to family history, Trish and I only had one argument in our life, and that was over who had to make the bed. I don't even remember that one....but I am sure it is true since Trish was neat from birth and I was a slob from birth. Anyway...who could have been more blessed than me to have the sister I do? She is gentle, kind, thoughtful, generous, funny, beautiful, determined, and loving. When I think of the word gracious, I think of her. I can laugh my guts out with her...and we totally "get" each other.
I happen to know she is sick today.
What a way to celebrate... but I just wanted to go on record as saying how much I love her and admire her. She has overcome many obstacles from starting life at two pounds and the loss of her twin to being widowed at an early age and eventually raising a blended family. I have NEVER heard Trish feel sorry for herself or have a pity party. She never plays the victim card....ever.

I am so thankful God blessed her with Mark. They are a great team.

Happy Birthday Sister! You are a life worth imitating.

I love you dearly.

Happy Birthday Aunt Trish! You are a wonderful, caring person, and an even better aunt! Thank you so much for being there when I was in college and giving me a place to get away if I had too. I love you.
