Trish confided in me that she is nervous about writing on the blog because Daniel is a copy editor. Now you can feel free to write on the blog. Daniel made a spelling error. We ALL do! Come on Trish...you are a loved and we want to hear from you.
Second...I had a blast spending part of Richard's birthday with him. He drove me to the airport. He is hilarious, sweet, kind and thoughtful. He was amazing with Sepporah. He answered all her questions, requests, and seemed genuinely interested in her. He entertained us with stories about being in the middle of "the boys" Lego hurling fight once and also being pounded by them in a basketball game where they were purposely fowling him hard core. When he cried, Matthew told him to stop being a baby and play. He had me laughing so hard about the things he suffered and survived at the hands of my boys. He definitely earned their respect, because they love their cousin Richard!
He did get a speeding ticket trying to get me to the airport on time, and I felt so bad for him. He was so respectful to the rude cop. WHO would issue a ticket on someone's birthday? Richard was considerate in spite of it and I was impressed with his gentle heart and maturity. He did his thumb trick several times at Sepporah's request. I thoroughly enjoyed having four hours of Richard Scott time to myself!
I hope you had something good to happen on your birthday, in spite of the fact that we forgot and you got a speeding ticket. You are one of six special grandsons and I love you very much. A late "happy birthday."

Your friend and Uncle,
I feel pretty bad about this, but it was a crazy weekend. Let's blame Sarah for steeling her brother's thunder. Happy Birthday RS!
