A lot has happened this summer, and it's only May. Graduations, weddings, baby's on the way. It's a Thompson renaissance!
Thanks Mom and Dad for all your help. We would not have made it this far without you!

May has been a crazy month. And not yet done. Whew...I will need a day off to ride the bike--which btw, I am considering naming "Big Bertha" in honor of Dad's humor. She'll keep me warm in the winter and cool in the summer, right Dad? Makes sense.
Mom and Dad's new best friends
Hey Gma and Gpa. Thanks for visiting our house last weekend. We enjoyed letting you sleep with us and sharing our house. We're still not exactly sure why you kept repeating, "Shooo...get down. Stop that. Shoo..." We've never heard those human words before. But we liked rubbing against your legs and sharing our cat hair with you. You're good people. Bo especially liked you...although he was a tad upset that you kept pushing him off his bed downstairs. But he got over it cause he liked waking you up real early to play. So come again soon. We have many plans for you. We might even ask you to help us do away with those ugly dogs that are squatting in our house. They're annoying. They haven't quite figured out that we own the house and all else are guests. But again, you are welcome anytime. We love hearing those strange phrases--talking to us constantly. See you soon!

Kristen Marries Bryan
Kristen married Bryan this weekend in a lovely, simple wedding. I'm sure uncle Stephen will have photos up soon but I just thought I'd share a few I snapped.
The wedding took place in St. Louis's beautiful Botanical Gardens.
The wedding was performed by the Thompson Patriarch, Leroy (Jokes by the Fistful) Thompson.

My mom and Aunt Trish are really adorable when they get together. They joke around and make each other laugh like they're still little girls at heart. But then you see them waddling around complaining about their joint pain and bunions and it kind of ruins the whole "young at heart" thing.
The happy parents of the bride.
Uncle Mark knows a lot of stuff. He blew my mind the night before the wedding with theories on population shrinkage, global markets and the sub prime mortgage crisis, all illustrated in imaginary graphs drawn fervently with his finger on the nearest wall. He also let me borrow his Lexus the next night! The happy parents of the bride.
