Polaroid is going the way of the polar bear in the age of digital cameras. Maybe it was a concern for relevance that led them to develop, and give away for free, a new computer application that takes your digital pictures and processes them so that they look like old-fashioned Polaroids. I love this ap. Claire was my test-subject Sunday. Here she is at a nature-themed birthday party that involved a walk through the woods for the children led by a nature guide.

I see that she has the Johnson fake smile ability. She's still cute!
I remember going on a field trip once with Em and the guide pointed out all the deer droppings-I think they called it scat? One can tell the diet, blah blah...an excuse to look at poop up close.
We need to take a family picture with all our fake smiles...and let Jessica, Kirsten and Mary all smile their usual...Cole actually has the most pained fake smile. Look at the wedding pictures.
I think I'm slowing inheriting the Johnson fake smile. You better make me laugh the next time we take a photo!
I think I am getting old. I don't understand the title: Claire modeling a new fake polaroid camera. Whatever it means, I think she is adorable.
Grandma/GG
Maybe that title was a bit convoluted. The point was that I have a program on my computer that can make my digital pictures look like old-fashioned polaroid printouts. My mom says she can't see the difference....
