HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK!!!! We hope you are having a wonderful day. It sure lets us realize our age when we think of having a son and so-in-law fifty years old.

We are glad you are our son-in-law.

I already commented in another entry about what a great brother-in-law Mark is...but on his birthday let me just say I am so glad he was born, and our family was blessed to get him! You will never be bored talking to Mark. I love to listen to his observations and ideas. He has so much zest for life and I am glad my boys have his example of integrity, leadership, and family focus.

Mark is good people (that's a popular Wisconsin/cheesehead saying).

If I new how to do these high tech things I would post a picture. Mark enjoyed great food and conversation with first a "surprise party" (kind of) from his friends at lunch following church then enjoyed time with his kids at his fav spot; the Wine Country Garden in the heart of wine country Missouri. It sits way up on the bluffs with breathtaking views. The food is fabulous. I love it as well since it is a nurery with acres of day lillys. After a few hours of great dialogue and laughs with the kids he ended his day quietly on the couch! He would say "What more can you ask for?". That's Mark.

Mark checks in via Trish! He writes "Thank you for your kind words! I just want to point out that even though Trish is much much older, she acts younger than I do."

I guess his eloquence dwindles after 9pm now that he is 50!
