I REMEMBER the day you were born. I was almost ten years old when you were born.
Actually... you were the reason I learned the facts of life. ha! I wanted to know how that happened to mom and she had to spill the beans. Thanks! My cousin Judy had told me that mom's belly button was made of elastic and that was how you were going to be born....just stretch the ol elastic and out would come the baby. To bad that wasn't true.
Anyway...I remember coming home from school and a lady who was watching us told us we had a baby brother. You were so much fun! Our very own doll.
Since I am going down memory lane, one of my funniest memories is listening to you cry during my wedding. You cried through the entire thing and you had that gulping cry you get after you have cried awhile. It was a LITTLE distracting...you were on the platform facing the congregation...not to mention we had to put make up on you to hide your two black eyes and you were crying it off.... In all fairness you were just ten when I married.
I love you brother! I love what a wonderful uncle you have been to my boys too(minus the tattoo and motorcycle encouragement).
(of course I plan to encourage Emily to move to Europe and pursue modeling...so I will return the favor).
Most of all you have been a loving, supportive brother these last three years. I don't know what I would have done without your help. You have made me cry more than once at your unexpected thoughtfulness. ( I received huge interest on the money I paid you as a teenager to line up my shoes in the closet.....)
When I was a kid Scott was an idol to me. Then he became a friend, and then he became like a father too. Thanks, Scott for all of the above. And happy birthday.
Well, I have to weigh in on this. I emailed you early this morning to wish you a happy birthday. I hope you check your emails. And----I tried to call you late this afternoon but you probably were out with someone.
So everyone does not think I am the dead beat, Scott will verify I txtd him at 7:00am on his BD and also called. How loved you are brother! We still think you are as wonderful as the day you came home from the hospital and we all sat there staring at you! TM

I am proud of you, as I am all my family.

Happy Birthday! (sorry my computer is getting fixed) Uncle Scott was and still is my hero. I owe all my tattoos to him. Have a great birthday!!
44? Wow, if the baby of the family is that old we're all really old. : )
