Stephen's Article in Advertising Age

Stephen has an article online for the magazine Advertising Age titled "Is Your Snazzy New Site Cloaked in Invisibility." I looked up "snazzy" in a dictionary of 19th century vernacular and apparently it means "stylish and attractive."

You can read the article here.

Interestingly I did not write that headline. I would never say snazzy about anything but Daniel's style of clothing.

Cool article. I love the middle comment by someone who totally missed the point of the article and gets upset and then the other guy defends Steve by coming across as one of those conspiracy theorist.

That's a good article. How the guy was offended at the military part is beyond me. Did'nt your line simply refer to military cloaking technology (Star Trek...)-it was not a political statemet was it!? Oh well. Fascinating.

It took me a while to 'get' that he thought I was making a political reference. It proves he didn't read the whole thing as the last paragraph refers back to the stealth bomber--a sort of attempt at cloaking. Oh well..always an odd one out there.

It is all greek to me in most respects---way over my head, but I did get the main point.

I was tempted to leave a comment for the one guy, "Don't you criticize my son's writing," but thought I better not.

Remember when Raymond's mom went to the FBI___ before Robert's interview__ to convince the guy to hire him...

This has been a problem for me recently. I created a web page for a remix project that I'm involved with and an accompanying myspace page. Some of our remixes have been getting some good exposure, including placement in video games, bonus tracks on import releases, singles and even an upcoming episode of a cable tv drama. Unfortunately, you can't find us by googling our name. I was told by the manager of one of the acts: "you guys need to work on your site. It's ungoogleable."

Maybe I need to pick your brain Stephen at Thanksgiving for some hot tips.

hey, we charge clients $300.00 an hour for that kind of advice. on your budget all I can tell you is this: build your site so the spiders can crawl them.
