uh..I didn't have anything to do with the good part...everytime I got mad at him I told him he was adopted...and I would provoke him to no end rubbing the top of his head during church, when he wanted to draw, because I liked the feel of his brushcut. I never let him be the preacher when we played church, and in fact I made him the corpse at our funerals. I would order him to lay still on the piano bench as we viewed the body. I beat him and Trish with a broom once when mom left me in charge. They joined forces against me, grabbed the brush end and a tug of war ensued which tipped the dining room table over and sugar went everywhere.....I blamed them when mom got home for not obeying me...ha! As timid as Steve and Trish were...I can't believe mom believed me.

I don't remember the table and sugar incident but I do remember Steve being the corpse once at Flippin and he fell off the chair or whatever they had him on. The corpse came alive fast. He was probably about three.

Memories!!!!

Karen and I must be getting old--we spent our anniversary laying around til 11, then went to Panera Bread, Barnes & Nobles, then ran to Walmart for some groceries. We went to a movie and came home and grilled vegetables for a vegetarian dinner. Hmmmm good! Really a great day! Now we're so tired we'll probably be asleep by 9. : ) But good that Karen still talks to me after 29 years. That's a lot to celebrate.
